I always battle with making things for myself vs making things to sell. It feels like I shouldn't waste what precious little time I have making things just for myself when we are not financially well off and I should be focusing on trying to make money from my craft :( But damn it feels so good to make you own things! But at the moment, I'm currently working on a new quilted wall hanging that I hope to turn into a collection.
that is a hard one! It's important to feed our family, but it's also important to take care of ourselves so we can continue to feed our family! I hope you manage to carve out even five minutes of making for fun in-between the "work crafting" - I've been there, I used to be a photographer and the lead up to Christmas was always so busy, I felt like I was so busy making magic for other families I barely had the energy to make magic for my own, never mind making just for me. The wall hanging sounds like a fun project, I'd love to see a photo if/when you're willing to share!
